When people think of discos they they think of the likes
of Peter Kay, to be fair most discos are like that still! My thinking is always outside that box, I don't do discos or karaoke
for the money, even though its a good point, I do them because I enjoy them, not just the music, but the fact that I control
the party, and if I'm having a good time then the guests are. I give it all, I'm knacked when I have done a good
party, not just from prancing around but the effort that I put into the even.
I could put up pictures on here, but like most websites, they not from the parties I have done, (taking
pictures at parties for advertising never work, they always look naff but there are some in the gallery to give you
a idea.
I play what you want, not what i like, if guests ask for a song, it goes on, unless I think its not suitable
for the event, I'm not going to put Emenin at a 50th wedding anniversary. I hear so many horror stories of
people booking cheap discos and then they play the wrong music or don't turn up.
The art of a disco or DJ
is to read the crowd, and to keep them dancing and enjoying themselves, and the biggest thrill i get is at the end when I
say goodnight and get a big round of applaus, you just cant beat it.
