lets start at the beginning and go on from there, My names Mike or rather funkymike, most people that know me just say 'funky', its kind of stuck after all the years of dj'ing, could be worse I suppose.

So then, you're looking at my web page because your having a party, getting married or fancy a bit of a sing song, or a quiz or some-think else? and you're also probably looking at loads of other web site and yellow page ads, so I shall cut to the chase to make it easier for you....

If your after a dj and want to pay 50 quid, then i'm not for you, but neither do I charge stupid amounts of money thinking I'm some kind of Judge Jules, and I don't do different kinds of packages like gold and silver either, I don't bring cheap stuff to small gigs because your paying less, what I do charge for though is my 15 years of experience of being a DJ and karaoke host, I also talk clearly on the Mic (from working on radio) I don't shoutout unkind comments or swear, but I will have a quiet word if your quests are being a pain. As for prices, its simples really, a big gig costs more than a smaller one, same as time, and regardless of size the equipment is the same, apart from the amount of gear, thats it really.

As for gear I use good quality and regularly serviced and PAT tested and I have Liablity insurance, the sound it can be loud, very loud if there's 300 people dancing and screaming, or singing, even the karaoke is gear is the same as a good band will use, so I wont bore or rather brag and give you the specs of it, take my word for it and the hundreds of happy customers I have had over the years, but sometimes things do break and thats why I always have a back up on site.
